Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is a launch draft and should be reviewed before the site is made public, especially because Tog the Frog is intended for children and families.

If you write to Tog, we may collect the name or nickname entered in the form, a grown-up email address, the message sent to Tog, and whether a consent checkbox was checked.

If a grown-up writes to Tog, we may collect the grown-up’s name, email address, and message.

If the storefront is added later, order and payment information may be handled by a payment provider. Payment information should not be collected directly by this site unless the Privacy Policy is updated.

We use submitted information to receive notes, respond when appropriate, manage safety and consent, provide customer support, and improve the Tog the Frog experience.

We do not sell notes sent to Tog. We do not post notes publicly unless we have clear permission to do so.

Notes sent to Tog are intended to be private. They are meant to be reviewed only by the people responsible for Tog the Frog, currently the person receiving the messages and his wife.

There are serious exceptions. We may disclose or act on information if we believe there is an emergency, a safety concern, suspected abuse or neglect, a legal requirement, or another serious situation where someone may need help.

Children should not send notes to Tog without help and permission from a grown-up.

The Write to Tog form asks for a grown-up email address so that messages from children are connected to a parent or guardian.

Grown-ups may contact us to ask what information has been submitted, request deletion, or ask privacy questions.

At launch, this site should avoid unnecessary tracking, advertising pixels, or behavioral advertising tools.

If analytics, cookies, or advertising tools are added later, this policy should be updated before those tools are used.

We keep notes only as long as needed to read, respond, manage safety, operate the site, or comply with legal obligations.

A grown-up may request deletion of a note by contacting us.

Privacy questions, deletion requests, and parent or guardian requests should be sent to the contact email listed on the Contact page once it is added.
