For grown-ups
Parent & Child Privacy
This page explains the Write to Tog feature in plain language for parents, guardians, teachers, and other grown-ups.
Effective date: [add before launch]
What Write to Tog is
Write to Tog is a gentle note box. Children and grown-ups can use it to write about feelings, questions, worries, or something they want Tog to hear.
It is meant to encourage listening, reflection, and connection. It is not therapy, medical care, crisis support, or emergency help.
Children should write with a grown-up
Children should use Write to Tog only with permission and help from a parent or guardian.
The form asks for a grown-up email address so that the message is connected to an adult.
What children should not share
Children should not share their full name, home address, school name, phone number, passwords, private family details, or anything a grown-up would not want shared online.
A first name or nickname is enough.
What grown-ups can send
Grown-ups may write to Tog too. Sometimes parents and caregivers need a place to say what feels heavy, confusing, or hard to name.
These notes are private. They are not posted publicly, sold, or used for advertising.
Who reads the notes
Notes sent to Tog go privately to the person responsible for Tog the Frog. They are intended to be read only by him and his wife.
The only exceptions are serious ones: emergencies, safety concerns, suspected abuse or neglect, legal requirements, or situations where someone may need help right away.
Can Tog write back?
Sometimes Tog may write back. A reply is not guaranteed.
If a child writes to Tog, replies should go through the grown-up email address provided.
Emergency and safety
Write to Tog is not monitored as an emergency service.
If someone may be in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or a trusted person nearby.
Parent and guardian requests
Parents and guardians may request a copy or deletion of a note associated with their email address.
A contact email will be added before launch.
